You'll arrive Friday afternoon and leave Sunday mid-morning. The pace is intentional — structured enough to give you something to hold onto, spacious enough to let you actually breathe.
Friday evening begins with a welcome meditation and shared dinner. Saturday is the heart of the weekend: a morning workshop, beginner-friendly yoga, a 30-minute Thai massage included for every guest, time to journal or explore the grounds, an afternoon workshop, and a live sound bath before dinner. Sunday closes with a morning meditation and group goodbye before checkout at 11am.
The venue is Rancho Moonrise — 36 acres with a pool, event barn, fire pit lounge, and open land. Accommodations are spacious, well-appointed safari tents — a glamping experience that keeps you connected to the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. It's not a hotel. It's the kind of place where you sit outside at night and actually see the stars.
This retreat is for people who could use a weekend away to invest in themselves. Whether you live close to Austin or would like to visit the area, if you keep saying you need a break but can't take a full week off, this is the perfect solution! It's right for you if you've been running on empty, if something in your life feels out of alignment, or if you simply haven't had a weekend that was genuinely yours in longer than you'd like to admit.
No meditation experience required. No yoga background needed. Just a willingness to show up, slow down, and do a little honest work alongside a small group of people who are doing the same.
This retreat is co-ed and open to all adults.

You'll stay in a spacious safari tent at Rancho Moonrise — and these are not your average camping tents. Think high ceilings, wood floors, real beds, a private covered deck, air conditioning and heat, mini-refrigerator, and curated décor that makes the space feel like a room, not an afterthought. The canvas walls keep you connected to the sounds and air of the Texas Hill Country without sacrificing a single creature comfort. Tents are available with a private ensuite bathroom.
All meals will be catered and included in your stay — there's no shortage of food options. The venue also offers snacks and drinks for purchase at their pool bar.
Included for every guest. Led by a licensed massage therapist who views bodywork as essential, ongoing maintenance — not a luxury. Using skilled Thai massage technique and myofascial release, she focuses on stress relief, alleviating discomfort, and increasing mobility. Sessions are spaced throughout Saturday so you have time to rest and integrate before the afternoon.
A full yoga class led by a 500-hour certified teacher who has been teaching in Austin since 2013. Her classes are invigorating and upbeat for experienced students, and genuinely accessible for beginners or those working around injuries. Expect breath, movement, and strength woven together — and the invitation to find flexibility in your practice, not just your body.
A group sound bath meditation led by a Kundalini Yoga and Sound Meditation teacher whose approach is light-hearted, nourishing, and trauma-sensitive. Expect embodiment through breath, mantra, and sound — designed to help you settle into your own body and reconnect with what's already there.
Two workshops across Friday evening and Saturday, focused on the retreat theme — restoration, self-awareness, and what it means to actually recharge (not just rest). Personal reflection, group discussion, and practices you'll actually use after the weekend.
Friday evening opening meditation to settle in and set intentions for the weekend.
Sunday morning closing session — guided meditation or yoga nidra to integrate the weekend before you head home.
Full access to Rancho Moonrise: pool, snack bar, Neon Moon lounge with fire pit, open grounds, and 36 acres to roam.
A group preparation call before the retreat so you arrive ready, not wondering what to expect.
*Alcohol is not included but is available for purchase through Rancho Moonrise's TABC-certified bar staff.
*Flight is NOT included.
